Omicron Gamma Sweet Sixteen

Omicron Gamma Chapter and a number of guests gathered in the Baker Ballroom of Ohio University's campus on April 23, 2006 to celebrate their "Sweet Sixteen" anniversary.  Omicron Gamma Chapter of Delta Zeta was founded on April 28, 1990.

President Allison Bayless welcomed us and asked a few of the guests to tell us "a little" or "a lot" about themselves, based on the length of the pink string they chose upon their arrival.

We enjoyed a nice luncheon before viewing a slideshow of chapter photos.  Region V RCC Pam Asher then addressed the women in attendance, comparing her own personal journey in Delta Zeta to the journey that Omicron Gamma has embarked on in sixteen years thus far.

AAD Mella Davies spoke next, reminding us that Delta Zeta is forever, and that we have so many opportunities to continue our involvement in Delta Zeta after graduation.

Allison then presented Omicron Gamma CCD Andrea Kusta with an engraved clock to express the chapter's appreciation for her hard work and dedication over the past seven years.  Andrea will be retiring as CCD at the end of Spring quarter.

Before we participated in a "Get to know your sisters" icebreaker, senior Christy Barksdale gave an emotional recap of her experiences as a member of Omicron Gamma Chapter.  The day concluded with a tour of the Omicron Gamma house on Mill Street.

Thank you sisters of Omicron Gamma, for hosting such a wonderful event, and congratulations on your "Sweet Sixteen" anniversary!
