About the Great Lakes Area   

The Great Lakes Area is one of ten different Delta Zeta Alumnae Areas, and serves the alumnae of Canada, Michigan, Ohio and the United Kingdom, as well as the collegians of Delta Zeta Regions V and VI.

The Great Lakes Area supports 21 Alumnae Chapters, 20 Collegiate Chapters, and 6 Chapter Associations.  See the locations of our Chapters by viewing the following pages:

The country of Canada and the states Michigan and Ohio have dedicated chairmen as part of a pilot program for Delta Zeta.

All of the Alumnae Areas are assisted by a team of four volunteers: the Area Alumnae Director (AAD), Membership Chairman, Development Chairman, and Public Relations Chairman.  A Treasurer and numerous State/Regional Chairmen also contribute to the Great Lakes Area Team.

Twice a year, the Great Lakes Gazette is published to keep sisters informed of news and events, technology tips, chapter reports, area women of achievement and much more.  A summer issue is published for convention years. The Great Lakes Area has an ongoing method of communication in its e-mail list - any alumna in our area is welcome to join!
