Our second award today is the
Outstanding Michigan Alumna Award.
This award is presented to an alumna member of Delta Zeta in
Michigan
who is actively involved in Delta Zeta, and has attained outstanding
achievement in her career and/or community volunteer areas.
Past winners include Andrea Henderson, Christyle Broadworth,
Karen Miron and Gwen Shick.
This year’s winner was initiated into Zeta Kappa chapter at Ohio
Northern University in 1994.
She was a founding member of the Ann Arbor Alumnae Chapter in
2004 and has served as the group’s treasurer since 2006.
Recently Kim has stepped up to take much of the initiative of the
contact for the chapter.
She has also been an active member of the Gamma Sigma House Corporation
for several years. As their treasurer, she worked to transition the
chapter to the National House Corporation last winter.
She works as a Human Resources Administrator for Fujitsu Ten
Corporation of America, is wife to Rob and mother to 15-year-old Bobby
3-year-old Brayden.
Congratulations to Kim Brothers for being named the 2009 Outstanding
Michigan Alumna award winner.
